The Future Leaders of InfoSec
swiftscale's top pick of InfoSec scaleups that you should know about
At swiftscale, our network consists of leading scaleups with the best-in-class solutions. We’re sharing a few of the key players in the information security space that we think you should keep an eye on or consider implementing.
This article isn’t sponsored. We exist to ensure nothing stands in the way of great people solving hard problems and we do this by helping scaleups get in front of their target market, by making the right connections at the right time.
We hosted the founders of these top scaleups at our Future Leaders of InfoSec event in February 2024. Want to hear from the founders themselves? Get in touch at hello@swiftscale.co and we can connect you. We can also send you a personal invite to the next event!
First, a little on why InfoSec is such an important investment area right now.
In the AI age of cybersecurity, where threats evolve at warp speed, staying ahead in SecOps isn’t a nice to have – it's a necessity.
According to IBM's "Cost of a Data Breach Report 2023" the global average cost of a data breach was a staggering $4.45 million in 2023, the highest it’s ever been. The good news? The same report highlights that organisations employing AI in security save an average of $1.76 million per year.
The InfoSec startup landscape is far-reaching and discerning what’s real innovation from marketing hype can be daunting and time-consuming.
Enter swiftscale’s pick of InfoSec scaleups:
Klarytee
Ploy
Private AI
Protect AI
Scytale
Klarytee
Klarytee solves key organisational compliance and security restrictions by building security into the data itself. This allows it to be shared freely over any application or infrastructure, without losing control of who has access to the underlying information, even when a document or email has left the direct control of the organisation that owns it.
Riding on the opportunities created by cloud adoption, hybrid working and the use of SaaS software in the enterprise, Klarytee is defining a new product category across Data Protection, Enterprise Collaboration, and ID and Access Management.
One of their products is an add-in for Microsoft Word that can protect your sensitive data in documents from leaking to AI or software and prevent unauthorised access across the supply chain. Klarytee add-in for Microsoft Word can be downloaded directly from Microsoft and integrated into your document workflow to enable one-click encryption, decryption and authentication using your existing Microsoft ID.
Klarytee’s product was developed through the Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab with close collaboration with 30 financial services organisations including Royal Bank of Canada and UBS. They now have a pipeline of 15 deals with a combined value of nearly $20M ARR.
